The Gayatrimicrons
in its process of continuous upgradation and R & D has
introduced a special product to suit certain Taylor-made applications
in field of Thermoplastics and Paints.
These fillers
have chemically bonded surface, formed by unique surface treatment
which renders it extremely hydrophobic and greatly improves
their compatibility with Polymer and Organic based additives.
The treatment
is produced by a chemical reaction of Calcium Carbonate with
an additive. The most common being that of Calcium Carbonate
with Stericacid , Calcium Stearate , Titanate or Silene. This
particular product has exceptionally high whiteness and is
very free flowing in nature whereby increasing its dispersibility.
